James January 2019 Update
Dear Friends,
Thank you for praying for us and our ministry. We are finishing up a brief Home Assignment in the USA -- in two weeks we return to our work in Bolivia. We will return via Spain and Portugal, where we have meetings set up in 6 cities with key pastors and pastoral associations. Please join us praying for the Lord’s guidance. Pray that if we should set up Equipping Servants in Europe, the church there will recognize its need to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures – and desire to grow in a gospel-centered direction. One of the gauges we look for in order to start ESI in a new country -- is if we can find at least one local coordinator who will step forward in a volunteer capacity to mobilize other pastors to prepare for a 3-day ESI Facilitator Training that we might do in the month of April. Please pray with us for the Lord’s leading.
We are thankful for an excellent Home Assignment, for a wonderful time in Cleveland as well as time last week as a family (all 5 grand-kids together!!) in Florida. (See picture below.) Debbie and I are feeling refreshed and ready to get back to the work in Bolivia and ESI as it expands around Latin America.
