Basics is a conference hosted by Parkside Church for men who serve as pastors and Christian workers. The conference aims to encourage and equip pastors to do the basics of Christian ministry well.

Volunteers Needed

Every year, Parkside Church members and attenders come together to serve the 1500+ men who attend the Basics Conference. Opportunities to serve vary from praying, to serving food, to opening your home.

Volunteer registration opens in late February/early March and continues until all spots are filled.

Five Ways to Serve

• Host Pastors in Your Home
  Open your home to one or more pastors and provide overnight lodging during the conference.
  
   
• Serve Meal(s)
  Set and clear tables, serve food at the buffet stations, and fill drinks. Choose one or more meal shifts.

 

• Commit to Praying
  Receive a weekly email prayer guide with specific prayer requests leading up to and throughout the conference.

 

• Assist with Setup
  Move tables, set up chairs, and more on the Sunday before the conference. Lunch will be provided.
