Ross Family November News
Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers.
As we enter November it always seems appropriate to us to ponder on the many gifts from God for which we are thankful. So here are a few of them.
- You and the rest of our faithful friends who uphold us and our work in prayer.
- Our delightful new granddaughter, Arwyn. It was so much fun to get to meet her last month and also to play with her big brother, Gerrick.
- God’s continued working in the lives of our children and grandchildren.
- The Cessna 182 is operational. After years in the process of legally importing this plane it is being used to help the people of Amoltepec. It is slightly smaller than our 2 other planes so is very useful when the passenger list is short.
- Juan Carlos Ramirez. This young man has been working with us to gain experience with the desire to fly with us in the near future. He is currently spending time in Nampa with the goal of improving his English language proficiency and also volunteering in the hanger for experience.
- Amos Grijalva. Amos is Mike’s right hand man and is always willing to jump in to do extra flights, maintenance and all the other things required of a pilot in a third world country.
- Our local church. We feel blessed to have a church family who encourages us and includes us in their lives. We are also blessed to have a pastor who faithfully preaches the Word of God.
- Dental teams. Plans are already being made for 2 teams to come to Oaxaca in January/February. The faithful service these teams have provided has been a tremendous encouragement to the pastors and believers in Amoltepec. We have been able to observe an increased openness to the Gospel in this area which we attribute to your prayers and the faithful preaching of God’s Word.
- Provision. God continues to provide for us physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially.
