Mike & Joan September 2022 Prayer Requests

* Pray that the installation of an engine on one of their Mexico airplanes here in Ohio will soon be completed.

* Pray for safety for Mike as he spends time in Oaxaca this month flying and training local pilots and mechanics.

* Pray for licensing paper work that must be completed in Mexico this month.

* Praise that the new MAF office is finished in Oaxaca.

* Pray specifically for a pilot to help Amos in Oaxaca. 

* Pray for Juan Carlos and Gregorio as they do pilot training to prepare them to fly with MAF.

* Pray for Pastor Pedro as he continues to share the gospel in Mamey with those touched by the ministry of the January Parkside dental team.

* Praise God that Juan Rivera (Edgar Rivera’s son) will graduate from the School of Mission Aviation Technology in Michigan August 22nd as an FAA certified aircraft mechanic. His student visa requires that he leaves the US by August 25th. Please pray that he will be able to finish well.

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your generous gifts and prayers which make our work with MAF possible. You truly are partners with us in the ministry as you give and pray.

We want to share with you how God has answered prayer over the last nine months in providing a new office for us at the airport in Oaxaca. Our old office was very small and for many years we have asked the Lord to provide a larger facility for us. The airport talked about renting us land to build a new office but never followed through on it.

* Pray for more pilots needed to serve with MAF around the world and especially for a pilot to help Amos in Oaxaca.

* Pray for Gregorio as he does specialized pilot training early this month to prepare to fly with MAF.

* Pray that Mike and Joan might be an encouragement to Neri and Karina Rivera as they visit them later this month in Tapachula, Mexico.

* The Missions Aviation Fellowship (MAF) team in Oaxaca is faced with the need to build a new office. Continue to pray for wisdom, favor with local authorities, and funding for this project. They have been praying for many years for this opportunity, but the answer came on them unexpectedly.

* Pray for more pilots needed to serve with MAF around the world and especially for a pilot to help Amos in Oaxaca.

* Pray for all the logistics and a safe flight for Amos as he flies one of our airplanes to Ohio for an engine change this month.

* Pray for pastor Pedro as he continues to share the gospel in Mamey with those touched by the January dental team.

March 2022 Missions Highlight

Parkside Church organizes short-term mission trips with the goal of providing a helping hand to the missionaries the church financially supports. One way we do this is by enhancing the missionaries’ local presence by offering services of various types in the villages where God has placed them. In January 2022, a Parkside team was sent to a mountain village called El Mamey, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.

* The Missions Aviation Fellowship (MAF) team in Oaxaca is faced with the need to build a new office in the next couple of months. Continue to pray for wisdom, favor with local authorities, and funding for this project. They have been praying for many years for this opportunity, but the answer came on them unexpectedly. Pray for a suitable temporary office arrangement.

* Pray for more pilots needed to serve with MAF around the world and especially for a pilot to help Amos in Oaxaca.

* Pray for Mike as he plans to fly in Oaxaca this month.

* Pray that the loving care provided by the Parkside dental team in Mamay in January will open doors for the Gospel.
