Ross Family October 2014 Prayer Requests

• Praise for the safe arrival of Chuck and Susan to join our team. Pray that they will be able to settle in well to their new surroundings here and that Chuck will be licensed and flying soon.
• We are thankful for all the ESI groups that are underway after summer recess in Mexico. Pray that each participant would see the impact of God’s Word in their own personal lives and in their ministries. Praise for the ESI group from Ocotalan which finished their studies this month. Pray for safety for Edgar and Neri as they travel lots of miles to meet with their ESI groups.

Ross Family September Happenings 2014

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers for Amos & the Weatherstones. Amos arrived safely in Nampa and is busy working on his license. Chuck & Susan have received their visas and are beginning the process of packing up their home. They hope to arrive here next week.

Please pray for Juan Carlos as he is flying an airplane from Nampa to Suriname. He hopes to arrive there today and return to Oaxaca on Wednesday.

Please pray for safety in our flight operations. Pray that the passengers we carry and the communities we serve will be open to the Good News.

Pray that the process will go smoothly this month to renew Mike’s pilot license.

Ross Family August 2014 Update

Dear Friends,

The flying here in Oaxaca continues to keep Mike & Juan Carlos very busy. Please pray for them as they serve the communities of Southern Oaxaca.

Our two big prayer requests this month are for Amos and the Weatherstone's.

1) Please continue to pray for the ongoing needs of our flight operation in Oaxaca. Airstrip permits, aircraft maintenance and office space are all being held up by paper work.

2) Pray that our focus as a team will continue to be on serving the Lord. Pray for continued opportunities to share the Gospel in the isolated mountain communities we serve.

Ross Family July 2014 Update

After three fast and furious weeks in the US we have returned to Mexico and the work here. We had a wonderful time with our grandkids and their parents. It is so much fun to watch them grow up. We were also able to spend time with our parents.

The end of this month, Juan Carlos will be helping to fly an airplane from headquarters in Nampa, Idaho to Suriname. He is eagerly anticipating this experience. Please pray for wisdom as he makes this trip.

Ross Family June 2014 Update

Dear Parkside Friends,

Thank you for partnering together in the Gospel with us here in Oaxaca, Mexico. We count it a privilege to live here and to serve some of the neediest. Our flying with Mission Aviation Fellowship has opened doors for the Gospel in isolated indigenous communities and continues to provide opportunities to encourage the new believers in the face of opposition.

As a team we continue to do multiple flights on a daily basis. We team up with the Oaxacan government to move critically ill patients to the hospital in the City of Oaxaca. Our Chaplin who is a trained Social Worker accompanies the patient in the ambulance from the airport to the hospital and advocates for the patient while praying for and witnessing to the family. We often receive invitations to visit the patient in their home back in their communities once they are released from the hospital.

Please pray for safety for our flight operations during this rainy month. Pray for wisdom in meeting the flight demands with limited resources.

Pray for us as we travel to spend vacation time with family and attend a family wedding.

Pray for special times with our children and grandchildren. Pray that our visit might be an encouragement to aging parents.
