James' Family August 2012 Prayer Requests
• Praise for a fruitful time of ministry for the Parkside team that helped us in July with the children’s ministry at our annual SIM Spiritual Life Conference.
• Praise that Kep and Debbie were granted dual Bolivian citizenship, and that Debbie is able to spend a few weeks with her dad in Rochester, NY – pray for him as his health is failing quickly – he is 91 years old.
• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants) participants throughout Bolivia, in Loja, Ecuador, and in Oaxaca, Mexico. Currently we have 600 active participants involved in weekly training, and 534 graduates since we started ESI in 2002. Please pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.

James' August 2012 Update
Hello from Bolivia!
Again we want to thank you for your prayers regarding our dual citizenship that was granted a few weeks ago. This has made it possible for Debbie to visit her dad in Rochester, NY, where she arrived an hour ago. It allows me to make plans to visit our ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) groups in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico in September. Debbie and I plan to be in Cleveland for our Home Assignment from Oct 10 until after the New Year.
Our ministry in the ILC Church and ESI is going well. We are seeing much fruit as pastors and church leaders grow in their commitment to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures. Thank you for your prayers, During this LONG process, God has taught us MANY important lessons over the 3 years we've been waiting for our dual Bolivian citizenship.

Hello from Bolivia!
Here is our June Update. Thank you for praying for us and the ministry here in Bolivia and around Latin America as we train, equip and encourage pastors and church leaders to be true to God's Word.
Our June Update features the recent Parkside Church medical evangelism trip last week to the Aymara villages of Santiago and Taca, deep in Bolivia's back-country Andes mountains. Included are photos.

Missions Focus - James' Family June 2012
What a privilege working with God’s faithful people in Latin America! We are constantly amazed and humbled seeing the commitment of faithful brothers in Christ as they serve God.
One example -- when I finished our first ESI group in 2004 (ESI means Equipping Servants pastoral training, and is a ministry led and funded by Parkside Church), I invited Aymara pastor Efirio Sauciri to start his own ESI group in El Alto. As he was forging ahead with that group, he asked if he could start an ESI group with pastors in the city of Oruro, a 4 hour bus ride away. So for 2 ½ years Efirio faithfully made that trip every Wednesday helping pastors in Oruro to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures.

Hello from Bolivia!
Definite signs here that our Andean winter has arrived! We trust you are well. Thank you for praying for us and our ministry.
This month's Update features ESI (Equipping Servants) -- current locations, and where we hope to expand. We now work with 640 pastors and church leaders throughout Bolivia, and in Ecuador and southern Mexico. Next year we plan to start in Huanuco, Peru. After that -- asking God to give us the right contacts to expand into Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica.
Thank you for praying for our dual citizenship -- still no word as we continue waiting -- now 29 months. We have peace and confidence in God's sovereign timing in all this, as we continue to ask God to give us favor so that Debbie can travel to see her dad (age 91, failing health), and so that Kep can travel to oversee ESI groups around Latin America.
Thank you for your prayers,
Kep and Debbie
