James Family July 2015 Prayer & Praise
• Praise for Equipping Servants (ESI) graduation in Bolivia in June. In La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz had 440 pastors and church leaders complete a variety of Modules in our 3-year program. One of the most encouraging aspects was hearing testimonies of the tremendous impact the study of Romans is having in the lives of so many Pentecostal pastors. Several told me, “We have never understood grace before – our lives and ministries have been transformed and will never be the same”.
• Pray for the 850 ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) participants in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. Pray for the 1050 graduates, that many churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders honor Christ by being true to His Word.
• Pray for God’s supply for the 2500 Pastor Book Sets needed between 2015 and 2018 as we press forward to open ESI in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years, wanting to place Pastor Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders in Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Columbia and Argentina – and train them in the use of these materials.
• Pray that ESI participants will grow in their love for Jesus, ever committed to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness, in obedience to God’s Word.
• Pray for pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of ESI pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador.
• Pray for pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with 4 groups of ESI pastors in Huánuco, Peru.
• Pray for pastor Pepe Rocha that God will help him in his passion for Christ in his pastoral ministry in the ILC Church.
• Pray for pastor Javier Soliz that God will guide and give him wisdom as he trains pastors involved in 6 ESI groups in Santa Cruz.
• Pray for pastor Freddy Choque leading 4 ESI ministry in the city of El Alto.
• Pray for Debbie and the team of committed women in the ILC church as they evangelize and disciple women in 2015.
• Pray for Sami and Heather as they develop a ministry of Biblical counseling in churches in La Paz. Praise for the good growth of their 5 month old son, Ethan!
• Pray for Katie, working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and serving God in a multitude of relationships.
• Pray for Andrew and Angie and their 3 children in Cleveland. Pray for Andrew as he goes through Parkside’s Missionary-In-Training process, that the Lord will equip him for effective ministry in church planting and pastoral training.
