James Family November 2015 Prayer & Praise
• Pray for Kep and Debbie as we spend the months of November and December with folks at at Parkside Church during our Home Assignment.
• Praise for gospel impact in the lives of the 70 women who attended Debbie’s October women’s ministry retreat at Camp Yungas in La Paz.
• Pray for the Lord’s guidance as we consider taking ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training) into spiritual needy South American countries. We are currently working in Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico -- and considering how to help pastors in Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, Venezuela and possibly Brazil in the next few years.
• Pray for 800 pastors and church leaders actively participating in ESI in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. Pray for the 1073 graduates, that many churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders honor Christ by being true to His Word.
• Pray for God’s supply for the 2500 Pastor Book Sets needed between 2016 and 2018 as we press forward to open ESI in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years, wanting to place Pastor Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders and train them in the use of these materials.
• Pray that ESI participants will grow in their love for Jesus, ever committed to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness, in obedience to God’s Word.
• Pray for pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of ESI pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador.
• Pray for pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with 4 groups of ESI pastors in Huánuco, Peru.
• Pray for pastor Pepe Rocha that God will help him in his passion for Christ in his pastoral ministry in the ILC Church.
• Pray for pastor Javier Soliz that God will guide and give him wisdom as he trains pastors involved in 6 ESI groups in Santa Cruz.
• Pray for pastor Freddy Choque leading 4 ESI ministry in the city of El Alto.
• Pray for Sami and Heather as they develop a ministry of Biblical counseling in churches in La Paz. Praise for the good growth of their 9-month old son, Ethan!
• Pray for Katie, working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and serving God in a multitude of relationships.
• Pray for Andrew and Angie and their 3 children in Cleveland as Andrew finishes his first year of training in Parkside’s Missionary-In-Training process. Pray that the Lord will equip them for effective ministry in church planting and pastoral training.
• Praise for our granddaughter Nicole’s spiritual hunger.
