James Family August 2013 Prayer Requests
• Pray for our pastors conferences in Bolivia with Jeff Mills, that many pastors and church leaders will be encouraged through the Bible teaching in Potosi (August 12,13), La Paz (August 14-16) and Santa Cruz (August 22-24).
• Pray for Jeff Mills’ evangelistic lunches with businessmen in La Paz and Santa Cruz, as we ask, expect and attempt great things for God during his visit to Bolivia.
• Pray for the ESI participants throughout Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru -- that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.
• Pray that pastors in Latin America will spend quality time with their wives and children, and that God will transform marriages as pastors live in obedience to God’s Word.
• Pray that pastors and church leaders will build a strong community of Biblical friendship with people in their churches and with other pastors and church leaders in their cities, to build the unity of the Body of Christ around Latin America.
• Pray for God’s supply for the 2500 pastoral book sets needed between 2014 and 2018 as we open ESI in 5 new Latin American countries in the next 5 years -- Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Columbia.
• Pray that ESI participants will fall in love with Jesus, and that they will be passionate to live in the strength of Christ’s justification, which is received by faith alone and results in a holy lifestyle.
• Pray for ESI participants and graduates that God will help them live in the fear of the Lord with a growing hunger for Christ and His Word.
• Pray for the ESI (Equipping Servants) participants throughout Bolivia, in Loja, Ecuador; Oaxaca, Mexico; and Huánuco, Peru. Currently we have 650 active participants involved in weekly training, and 803 graduates since we started ESI in 2002. Please pray that churches will be transformed as pastors and church leaders learn to honor Christ by being true to His Word.
• Pray for Pastor Edgar Mamani, pastoring the IBM church.
• Pray for Javier Soliz that God will guide and give him wisdom as he trains pastors involved in 3 ESI groups in Santa Cruz and one in Cochabamba..
• Pray for Freddy Choque developing the ESI ministry in the city of El Alto.
• Pray for Debbie and the team of committed women in the ILC church as they evangelize and disciple women in 2013.
• Pray for Sami and Heather working in the city of Santa Cruz in a Biblical counseling outreach to young people called Café Alfarero. They are seeing good fruit in evangelism and discipleship.
• Pray for Katie, working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and serving God in a multitude of relationships.
• Pray for Andrew serving with Samaritan’s Purse in Bolivia doing pastoral training in Aymara communities on the Altiplano. He is 2/3 finished with his MA studies by extension at Trinity Seminary. Pray for Angie as she is busy with their 2 children, Nicole and Camille.
