Ross March 2011 Prayer Requests
We are very grateful for special time with friends and family here in the US. Pray for safety as we travel and for the ability to effectively communicate the work of MAF in Mexico as we meet with churches and supporters. Please pray for our co-workers in Mexico who continue serving the people in our absence. Pray for safety for Juan Carlos as he flies into our mountain airstrips and for wisdom as he prioritizes flight requests. Pray for the new opportunity we have been given to build a hangar in Oaxaca.
Pray for the 9 ESI groups meeting in Oaxaca. Pray for wisdom and encouragement for Edgar and Neri as they lead these groups. Pray for the men and women who have committed to studying God's Word. Pray that each Christian Leader would have time to complete their studies and that each one would be able to apply what they have learned in their ministries. Pray that each one would think and live biblically.

Ross February 2011 Ministry Update
Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers on our behalf. Words cannot express how grateful we are for your partnership.
Our first two months of furlough have passed quickly. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with all our boys, their wives and our four grandchildren. Joan’s mom was able to join us which made it extra special.
We also spent a long weekend in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area attending the wedding of Mike’s niece as well as visiting some of our supporters. All of Mike’s siblings were there and it was really fun to spend time together as a family.

Ross February 2011 Prayer Requests
As we complete our second month of furlough we feel as if we're finally getting into the swing of things. So far we have been able to share about the work in Mexico in four different churches. We are looking forward to being in several more churches during the next couple of months.
This last weekend Aaron moved in with us as his friend/roommate is getting married soon and moving into another place. This is a big change for all of us.

December Tidings from Mike and Joan
Dear Friends,
We safely arrived in Cleveland on Saturday, Dec. 4th and are busy getting adjusted to the U.S. and lots of snow. Thank you so much for your prayers during this time of transition.
We are happy to report that most of our airstrips have been reopened and Mike did lots of flights before we left. Please pray for Juan Carlos as he flies and manages the program all by himself. We would also appreciate your prayers for Bruce DeVries and his family as they finish up raising support and travel to Oaxaca.

Ross December 2010 Prayer Update
Please pray for Joan and Mike as they travel to Cleveland in early December to start a furlough. Pray that they would have special time with family and opportunities to renew relationships with friends. Pray for continued safety in our flight operations in Oaxaca and especially for Juan Carlos as he will be the only pilot for the next couple of months.
Praise that we now have permission to fly into seven out of nine of our airstrips.
Pray for the men and women involved with ESI in Oaxaca as they finish their second semester of study this month. Pray that they will have opportunities to apply what they have learned in their local churches. Pray that their marriages will be strengthened through the study of God's Word.
Thanks!
Mike & Joan

Ross November 2010 Update
Dear Friends,
October was a busy month. The dental team arrived with no problems and we were able to get special permission to fly them into one of our mountain communities. This year the pastor from our church here in Oaxaca accompanied the team as he is also a medical doctor.

Please pray for safety in our flight operation in Oaxaca. This is rainy season and we deal with a lot of rain and clouds mixed with our mountains. Pray that the Parkside Dental Team would have health and safety as they travel to Oaxaca the 9th through the 16th. Pray that the hearts of unbelievers would be opened to the Good News.
