Ross Family September 2013 Update
Dear Friends,
August was an encouraging month with several significant answers to prayer:
After almost 18 months in the USA raising funds Juan Carlos and his family are back here as part of our team. Juan Carlos is a pilot/mechanic and will be able to pick up a large portion of the flight and maintenance responsibilities.
After 5 full months in the shop at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho our second six place Cessna 206 is back in service in Mexico with a new motor and an updated interior. Amos Grijalva and Mike flew it down arriving safely on August 29th.
Amos spent four of the last five months in Nampa overseeing the work on our airplane and also working on his FAA instrument rating. Amos is from Oaxaca and is an excellent aircraft mechanic. His dream has been to fly with us and this new license is a major step toward making that dream a reality.
Joan's mom fell and broke her hip last month. We are thankful for the great medical care she has received and especially for Joan's sister and her husband who have once again stepped up to help Joan's mom in our absence.
Joan and I plan to spend a couple of weeks with family in Ohio. We are anxious to spend a little time with parents, children and grandchildren.
