Rivera Family Update
Edgar and Lety are very thankful for all the loving care and prayer support they receive from the members of Parkside Church which is such an encouragement to them in the ministry. They have three children: Ana Gracia (19), Juan Antonio (17) and Esther (7).
Edgar currently leads two ESI groups in Oaxaca and spends 14 hours on a bus every other weekend to lead two more groups at this home church in Pachuca. With the help of two ESI graduates he is also leading a new group aimed specifically at encouraging the indigenous pastors in Amoltepec whose first language is Mixteco.
Edgar spends most weekdays at the MAF office with Mike Ross providing pastoral leadership for our Mexican ministry team. Lety keeps busy as a wife and mother and also works in children’s ministry training teachers.
Ana is a sophomore studying nutrition at a State University in Pachuca. Juan is currently working full time hoping to start school again in the Spring. Esther’s adoption is now complete and she is enjoying second grade.
