Kep & Debbie October 2022 Prayer Requests
• Pray for us as we say good-bye to our friends and ministry partners in Bolivia and return to Cleveland on October 19, so that we can refocus our ministry toward Africa.
• Praise for Kep’s trip to Cairo in September where he trained 65 mission school leaders and missionaries who are working to train Christian workers to start churches in North Africa and the Middle East. Pray for these leaders that they will be able to help their students grow in their daily commitment to study God’s Word, to know it, to live it, to grow in their love for Jesus and experience gospel transformation in their lives – and then to teach it faithfully.
• Pray for the 1,825 ESI (Equipping Servants – Disciples Making Disciples) participants in 168 groups meeting in 14 countries, with 2730 total graduates since beginning in 2002. Pray that these men and women will grow in their love for God and commitment to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures with Jesus and His Gospel at the center.
• Praise for the 65 Kenyan pastors and church leaders that Kep trained in Nairobi in September. Pray that the gospel will continue to impact their lives. Many confessed that they had never studied the Bible, Pray for them as they start ESI groups in their own churches in the coming weeks to begin studying Romans.
• Praise for ESI expansion in Latin America in 2022 and 2023. ESI Peru is taking ESI into British Guyana; ESI Ecuador is taking ESI into Central America, and ESI Columbia continues to oversee ESI expansion into Venezuela and the 3 new groups in La Coruña, Spain. Pray for Pastor Sebastian Moreno as he visits these 3 groups in Spain the first week of October.
• Pray for the ILC church we planted in La Paz, Bolivia that members will be faithful in studying the Bible, living the Bible, sharing Christ with much fruit that remains, and discipling believers.
• Praise that Debbie was able to hand her ILC Church women’s ministry over to her ministry team – this frees her to travel with Kep to work with African women.
• Pray for Pastor Pepe and the elders of the ILC Church in La Paz, that they will be passionate about Jesus so they can lead the church in gospel transformation – faithful to God’s Word.
