I, like much of the female Midwestern population, get all giddy around this time of year. I eat up anything that comes in pumpkin flavor (liquid or solid), load up on things that are brown, orange, and maroon, and endure progressively chilling winds in the name of enjoying the last few hours of sunlight. Fall has and will probably always be my favorite season. Although I always look forward to the first snowfall almost as much as I drink in every moment of sunlight in the blazing summer sun, autumn wins. Under New Management
The seasons are revolving again in Ohio. Leaves are already beginning to turn as the once warm and sunny streets of Cleveland become progressively peppered with sweaters and smart fall jackets.
Change is in the air at :transit: just like anywhere else. On the evening of September 14, we invite you to drop by and catch the official :transit: debut of teaching pastor Mike Willmer, our newly minted mayor.
Things are no longer as they were, but yet… what can really change? Continue to be excited about spending Wednesday nights with all your new old friends at :transit: large group. Prepare yourself for even more good worship music and thoughtful, edifying Bible exploration on a weekly basis.
Expect more of the same, only different.

TTYL SK

Abrupt surprise ending… this week at :transit: will be the FINAL :transit: large group meeting featuring Scott Kennedy as our official leader.
Won’t you join us for a Kennedy farewell message, which is sure to be absolutely epic in nature? No pressure, Scott…
Come to hear another classic :transit: presentation of pragmatic Gospel truth, as well as some final words of wit and wisdom from the man who started with a cosy Parkside young adult ministry in a Cleveland Hts. apartment, and built it into the empire of edification we all enjoy today.
Stay to celebrate a man and his life-changing ministry, and encourage him on his way to new frontiers in church planting and the spiritual re-development of a region.
Last SK :transit: ever. Spread the word.

Backpack Donation Collection Drive

At :transit large group on the evenings of Aug. 10 & 17 :transiteers: will have the opportunity to donate affordable backpacks and school supplies to area children. Donations can include a backpack (retail value $14 and under) with supplies (pencils, pens, 1- or 2-subject notebooks, glue, crayons, rulers) or just individual items. Supplies are also being collected church-wide at Parkside Church on Sundays August 14th and 21st.
All donations will benefit families in Inner City Cleveland who cannot afford to equip their children for academic success with basic school supplies. Donated items will eventually be distributed via our partners at Scranton Road Bible Church in the Clark-Scranton neighborhood, Downtown.
