A Journeymen Event for Men with Jim Gilmore

Location: The Commons
Start Time: Mon 15, July 2013, 10 p.m.
End Time: Tue 16, July 2013, midnight

On Monday, July 15, from 7-9 in the Commons, all men are invited to join us for a pulled-pork dinner followed by a presentation from speaker and author Jim Gilmore. Gilmore's presentation, "Keeping Watch on Yourself," will provide a great opportunity to invite colleagues and business associates to an innovative and thought-provoking evening.

Gilmore is a well-known speaker in the international business community whose thinking has been published in many of the world’s leading business publications, including the Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, and Investor’s Business Daily. He is the author of The Experience Economy: Updated Edition and Authenticity: What Consumers Really Want. He teaches a course on the Experience Economy at the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia, a course in cultural hermeneutics at Westminster Seminary California, and a course in facilitating creative thinking at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). He also serves on the board for the ministry, White Horse Inn (whitehorseinn.org).

No pre-registration is required and the suggested donation is $5 per person at the door.
