Thanksgiving Box "Thank You"
Thank you to each person who participated in the 2016 Thanksgiving Box Project. 360 boxes are delivered and God was beyond gracious as always. Tuesday of last week we only had 130 of the minimum 250 boxes needed, so I asked the coordinator of the Thursday Morning Woman's Bible Study, and my mid-week Life group leader, to announce our need. An email was also sent to small groups and by Thursday afternoon we had 290 and by Friday evening 360!!!! God's people are so generous and willing when they hear there is a need.

Volunteers Needed for Hospice of the Western Reserve
Touch a life...Become a Hospice Volunteer.
Hospice is a philosophy of care, not a place. We care for our patients wherever they call home. As a vital part of our team volunteers come from all walks of life, and have a variety of skills, talents and abilities.
Opportunities to serve are diverse: visit patients and families to provide companionship, socialization, and comfort help with legacy work, transportation, light housework, meal preparation, run errands, make phone calls, help with clerical work, attend health fairs, make a presentation. Volunteers with specialized professional qualifications and training are also needed: attorneys, licensed hair dressers, massotherapists, pet therapy dogs and their handlers.

There are several opportunities available through a partner campus ministry including: providing temporary housing, picking up students for the airport, donating furniture and other household items, and assisting in set-up and delivery.
