Thanksgiving Box Project 2017

This year marks the 31st year that Parkside Church has endeavored to provide complete Thanksgiving dinners to families who might otherwise be unable to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.

Alternaterm Fall Banquet

Location: The Commons

Come join Alternaterm Pregnancy Services for an elegant evening at Alternaterm's annual Fall in Love with Life banquet. Featured speaker is Mr. Scott Klusendorf, a pro-life apologist, "Making a Case for Life on Hostile Turf." Learn to be a guardian of truth. The event will be held at The Commons, Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Road, Bainbridge, Ohio. Doors open at 6:30PM. Dinner and program 7-9PM.  Dinner is complimentary. Ride With A Mission 2017

Location: Ride begins at Laura's Home,18120 Puritas, Cleveland, OH 44103
Start Time: Sat 9, Sept. 2017, 1 p.m.
End Time: Sat 9, Sept. 2017, 6 p.m.

The City Mission will hold its 6th annual motorcycle rally/fundraiser on Saturday, September 9. Riders have the opportunity to tour the Mission facilities, share a meal, visit vendor exhibits and receive raffle/door prizes.

Solon Home Days "Thank You"

Thanks to each of you who served at the 2017 Solon Home Days festival July 28-30. God provided perfect weather and the weekend went off without any problems because of your help!!!

Literature and candy were distributed along with many Community Day postcard invitations. Please pray that some who took invitations will come to Community Day. Pray that seeds planted will be used to bring people a step closer to knowing Jesus.

Community Day Invitation Drop-Off

Location: The Venue at Parkside Church
Start Time: Sun 20, Aug. 2017, 3:30 p.m.
End Time: Sun 20, Aug. 2017, 4:30 p.m.

Join us right after third service in the Venue on 8/13 and 8/20 and drop off invitations in your neighborhood or the neighborhoods surrounding the church.  A light lunch will be provided along with some brief instructions and invitations.  We will pair or team people up before you leave to hand out the invitations.

Solon Home Days Volunteers Needed!

Location: Solon Community Park, 6679 SOM Center Rd., Solon, OH

The 19th annual Solon Home Days festival will be held July 28-30 in the front parking lot of Solon Community Park (6679 SOM Center Rd., Solon, OH 44139). Parkside Church will have a booth at the festival and we need volunteers to represent Parkside by greeting people, handing out balloons and literature, and helping with a children’s game.

The festival theme this year is "Ocean Adventure" and we will decorate the booth in theme. We encourage you to wear anything in keeping with this theme that you think is appropriate.

Volunteers Needed at University Settlement

University Settlement is a neighborhood center that provides social services to residents of the Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood in southeast Cleveland. Headquartered at 4800 Broadway Avenue, the agency operates three facilities and hosts 10 major programs that serve children, families, and seniors. The mission of University Settlement is to offer the individuals and families we serve the resources by which they can learn, grow, and thrive.
