Powerhouse Groups 2014-2015

We believe that small groups are a vital part of building relationships with one another. Powerhouse Groups are designed for same gender/same grade students to get to know one another and to explore the Bible and talk about how it applies to everyday life.

Powerhouse Groups will begin this semester on October 7th. Sign up to join a group! (Please sign up even if you were a part of a group last year.) We will contact you with further details about where your group will meet.

O'Frenzy 2014

Cedar Point 2014

What?  Enjoy the day with the adventure rides of Cedar Point

*This is also the day of PointFest, a Christian concert right outside of the park including Chris Tomlin, For King & Country, Jaime Grace, and Newsboys. If you would like to attend, select the "Plus PointFest" option. Please note that our group may leave the park to head home before the final act is over.

Where?  Meet at the Warehouse at 9:00am.  We aim to return to the Warehouse at 11pm, check our Twitter feed after 10pm for an updated arrival time (@parksidehs or @parksidems) or sign up to receive texts by texting ParksideMS or ParksideHS to 33733.

Mohican Madness

Location: Mohican State Park, Loudonville OH
Start Time: Sat 23, Aug. 2014, 1:15 p.m.
End Time: Sun 24, Aug. 2014, 7:30 p.m.

A trip for all middle school students. We'll spend time camping, canoeing, go-carting, putt-putting, and swimming. We will also have a chance to build our new friendships and grow in our relationship with the Lord.

When: We will leave Saturday August 23rd at 10:15am from the Warehouse (31200 Solon Rd, Solon Ohio).  We will return Sunday August 24th at 4:30pm to the Warehouse.  (We will update the website and twitter feed with our specific return time: www.twitter.com/parksidems)

Where: Mohican State Park, Loudonville, OH 44842

Stuff to Pack:  Money for lunch on Saturday, warm sleeping bag and pillow, towel, toiletries, flashlight, sunscreen and bug spray, camping chair, swimsuit (one piece), 2 pairs of shoes (one will get wet), jacket or hoodie, clothes for two days.  **Please do not bring any cell phones, ipods, or other similar electronic devices**

Cost: $65, which includes transportation, accommodations, activities and all meals with the exception of lunch on Saturday.

The Club JV cookout is moving to the Warehouse

Due to the impending thunderstorms and 70% chance of rain, the Club JV cookout has been moved to the Warehouse (31200 Solon Rd.)  Bring a friend to enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and lots of games from 7pm-9pm tonight!

World Changers Lunches

Location: Bedford

As our students are out working on houses in Cleveland for the World Changers mission trip, area churches provide the crews with lunches. If you are willing to help prepare, deliver or fund lunches July 22-25, please go here to read more about what is involved and to volunteer.
