Lunch Aide Job Description Job goal: To assist the kitchen manager with meal prep and cleaning tasks as needed. Reports to: Kitchen Manager Performance Responsibilities: ● Report to the kitchen manager for daily instruction on meal prep assistance ● Assist in light meal prep tasks (i.e. slicing fruit, plating, etc) ● Assist with clean up tasks (i.e. wiping counters, collecting trays, washing dishes) ● Assist with serving students during lunch periods ● Report to the kitchen manager of any planned absence (vacation, doctor appt,etc) as soon as possible. ● Report to the kitchen manager any absence due to illness or other emergency situation as soon as possible. Should the Kitchen Manager be unavailable, the Nutrition Director will be the default for any lunch tasks, reporting, or questions.
