:Transit: Camping Trip 2018

Location: Guilford Lake State Park, Lisbon, OH
Start Time: Fri 3, Aug. 2018, 8:30 p.m.

Young adults (ages 22-35) are invited to an outdoor excursion including camping, hiking, and hanging out August 3-5, 2018 at Guilford Lake State Park. Cost is $35 a person which includes overnight accomodations, Saturday meals, and Sunday breakfast. Register online before the 30 spots fill up!

It's raining outside so the Transit cookout tonight has been moved to The Loft. Come at 7:30pm for hot dogs, burgers, and drinks. Bring a side or dessert to share if you want.

Transit Christmas Party

Join us on Wednesday December 20 from 7:30-9:30pm for coffee, games, and a time of fellowship and hanging out as we look forward to Christmas. The night will include:

Christmas Desserts Competition: Bring your best Christmas dessert (cookies, cake, brownies, rice krispies, whatever - just keep it Christmas themed). The desserts will be shared amongst everyone, but the judging panel will sample a small bit of each dessert in order to rank out the top 3 desserts. Rewards will be given to top 3 best Christmas desserts! 

Christmas Benevolence Project: For those who volunteer to help with the family Transit is “adopting” for the Christmas Benevolence Project we will meet at the party, grab a coffee and a snack, and then head out to shop for a family in need from one of the communities surrounding Parkside. We then will bring the gifts back to the Loft where another team will wrap the gifts that have been purchased.

Harvest Fest 2017

On October 27th, get ready to celebrate the Autumnal season at :transit: Harvest Fest 2017 with all of your favorite :transiteers:

Expect: an epic bake-off contest

Are you a brownie virtuoso? A king or queen of cookies? A cinnamon bun czar? Make and bring a batch of your favorite seasonal treats to Harvest Fest to share! Prizes will be awarded for the best bake-off item as voted on by the group in attendance.

Expect: an inspiring costume contest

While dressing up in costume is not a requirement of attending :transit: Harvest Fest... wouldn't it be be more fun if you did? At this year's event, prizes will be awarded for the best guy costume, best girl costume, and best team/group costume, as voted on by the group in attendance.

Expect: amazingness

There'll be friends, fun, a bonfire and more for a mere $5.

What? An outdoor excursion including camping, hiking, and hanging out. We'll provide the tents, you provide the fun.

When? Saturday August 5 - Sunday August 6, departure times TBD

Where? Tappan Lake, Deersville, OH

How (much)? $30. Cost includes overnight accommodations, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Gas money for drivers is not included and will be split individually among cars.
