Choose Your Own Adventure

During last week’s game night, we handed out our “What’s the hot topic?” survey, asking for your input on where you think :transit: should be headed in the near future.

What were some topics that you would like to hear messages on at :transit:?  What service opportunities did you suggest we should pursue as a group?  As soon as we tabulate the results, we plan on making some of your most frequently mentioned dreams come true, once again proving that what is popular is always what is right.

New :transit: Small Group

Out of consideration for Twinsburg-area girls, (TAGs), and our neighbors throughout the Southeast, we are overjoyed to announce the new Rachel Peteya :transit: small group Bible study for chicks in Twinsburg.  Your new edification destination.

Getting Our Just Deserts

A few years back, the Jezek family found itself in one of the more remote areas of Nowhere, Arizona for an extended family wedding.

The morning of the blessed event, we awoke much too early, piled into a rented Jeep Grand Cherokee, set the vehicle’s GPS for the wedding chapel, and were off.  With the digital navigator as our guide, Dad deftly maneuvered across a matrix of sun-scorched small town roads and onto the highway, as his under-slept passengers quickly drifted back towards unconsciousness.

As my father sped along state route whichever, the rest of us could hear the GPS’s calm-voiced commands as we approached REM sleep.

“Prepare to turn right in 1,000 feet,” it said.

The truck slowed.

“Turn right, ahead,” it continued.

Instead, the truck stopped dead.

Barring any epic snowstorms, blizzards, or snow squalls, :transit: will be back in action this Wednesday January 19th after a long winter hiatus.  Join us at the loft at 7:30pm for our return.

:transit:'s Comeback Postponed

:transit:'s return has been thwarted by the winter weather, large group is canceled for this evening.  We will make our comeback next Wednesday January 19th.
