    Volunteer receptionists are needed at the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-6 pm. Duties include welcoming and greeting clients, answering phones and organizing program materials.

    Dear Parkside Families:

    Thank you for your prayers and financial contributions toward Christmas gifts for children from Scranton Road Bible Church. The children who attend SRBC’s Good News Kids Club received gifts that were fun, creative, and met practical needs.

  • Volunteers Needed for ReStore

    Volunteering at the ReStore is a great way to give back to the community and meet other friendly people - by volunteering you can be a part of this great mission of providing an opportunity for families in Geauga County to own a home.

    We have a need for Saturday workers in the ReStore. These positions include Pricer and Register Assistant. Pricers will be responsible for preparing items for the sales floor. This includes cleaning, sorting and pricing. Register Assistants will help wrap and bag items for customer and assist cashier with the check out process.

    Help a Neighbor in Need! Cleveland Clinic Hospice at Home is seeking volunteers to provide companionship and socialization to patients. Spend some time chit chatting or playing games with neighbors in need as a hospice volunteer! We serve patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living complexes. Our volunteer opportunities are designed around the volunteer to fully utilize their skills and abilities so they have the most rewarding volunteer experience possible.

    Each year we partner with Scranton Road Bible Church in Cleveland to collect and distribute Thanksgiving boxes to families in need.

  • Prison Ministry Christmas Bag Outreach

    “The Way Out” Prison Ministry is collecting items for their annual Christmas Bag Outreach project. They are hoping to assemble over 1000 bags for inmates in Cuyahoga, Geauga and Summit counties.

    Alternaterm Pregnancy Services is holding their annual Walk for Life fundraising event on Saturday, October 6, at the Cleveland Clinic Lyndhurst Campus (1950 Richmond Rd.). Registration is at 9:30am. 

    Go to www.Alternaterm.org and click Walk for Life 2012 for more information or to sign up. There you can also create your own web-page and invite sponsors to support you and your team.

    Over 6,000 babies are aborted each year in Cuyahoga County.  By collecting pledges as a walker, you can make a difference, one life at a time.
