The Parkside Insider: May 29, 2020
We find ourselves in challenging days. Thankfully, we can turn to the Bible to discover what God requires of us in this and every other season. Alistair Begg takes us to 1 Thessalonians to discover three directives for the present time.

Updates and Resources from Parkside

Please join us this Sunday, May 31, at 9:45am (ET) for a live service and message from Pastor Alistair Begg.

Food & Book Drive
In partnership with Scranton Road Bible Church (SRBC), we are collecting non-perishable food items and new or gently used children's books for families in the Cleveland area. We invite you to partner with us by dropping off food or books, or by giving financially. Drop-off days are next week: Wednesday, June 3, and Friday, June 5.

Graduating Parkside Seniors
Parkside would like to join families in celebrating the high school class of 2020 by sending a small gift to each graduating senior. Register here by June 3, and let us know what high school you graduated from, your plans for next year, and your current mailing address.

Cancer Support: June Meeting
If your life or that of a loved one has been affected by cancer, join us online Sunday, June 7, at 11:15am for a time of sharing, encouragement, and prayer. If you would like to participate in the virtual meeting, please contact either Matt Ross or Jim Risk in advance so that a meeting invitation can be emailed to you.

THE INCOMPARABLE CHRIST - PART FOUR
John 18:28-40

Since the beginning, man has been rebellious. By nature, instead of trusting God’s wisdom and goodness, we assert our right to rule over our own lives. By grace, though, God established Jesus as the ultimate King to subdue us to Himself, to defend and keep us, and to conquer our enemies. Alistair Begg teaches that by submitting to His reign, ordinary people like us are welcomed into an eternal community where harmony and intimacy will be restored. Will we accept God’s invitation?
