Supported Worker: Indigenous Church-Planting Training in Arab and Muslim Countries
Details: Mark is their most recent missionary to the field, who moved last December after graduating from their missionary school in Egypt. Mark has a great passion to see Muslims come to know Christ as their Savior. When he began his ministry he stayed with a fellow brother in Christ. He was amazed by the vibrant church in the area. Mark also spent a month with another missionary team leading Bible studies three times a week. He has now settled in a challenging area that is hostile to Christians. Pray for wisdom and grace for him as he seeks opportunities to share his faith. He also asks prayer for learning challenging languages, for friends to come alongside him to help alleviate his loneliness, for the finances required to live there and furnish his apartment and for comfort and peace for his parents. They are thankful for our prayers! Qatar (Asia). Qatari believers number but a few. From Arab, Persian and Bantu (former slaves) extraction, Qataris are almost without exception Muslim. Pray that a Qatari church would be birthed and that Qataris at home and abroad would hear about Jesus.
