Join a Group This Fall!

Parkside's small groups are designed to be a closer-knit community for Christians to study God's Word and create meaningful relationships. From children to adults, on Sundays or weekdays, in the morning or evening, there are a variety of ways to connect with others, grow your faith, and find your place at Parkside this fall:

Sunday Morning Groups

Begin meeting on September 12

Led by a member of the pastoral team, each Sunday Morning Group works through a different book of the Bible. Groups are offered at both service hours, as well as a virtual option for either hour.

Community Groups

Begin meeting the week of September 13

Our Community groups meet in local homes on different nights of the week. Generally composed of 10-20 people, groups will be studying the book of Nehemiah.

Men's Bible Study

Begins meeting on September 20

Men are invited to join the Monday evening Bible Study to study the book of James. The evening begins in the Venue for a large group teaching, followed by breakouts into smaller groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.

Women's Bible Study

Begin meeting the week of September 20

Women can choose between two Bible Study offerings: Tuesday nights at 7pm or Thursday mornings at 9:30am. Both studies are identical, but childcare is offered on Thursday mornings. The time begins in the Venue for a large group teaching on James, followed by breakouts into smaller groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.

Young Adults

Meet on Wednesday nights year-round

Our young adults ministry, called Transit, is designed for those between the ages of 18 and 35, married or single. Transit meets together at the Loft from 7:30-9pm every Wednesday for a large group time of worship and teaching, followed by time to mingle and talk with friends.

Students

Sunday Groups

Begin September 12

Middle School Sunday Morning Group is designed for students in 6-8 grades. During the 10:30am service hour, they dig deeper into the sermon passage that correlates with what is being taught in the main service.

High School students grades 9-12 have the opportunity to attend Church 101, a 12-week class designed to help students understand what it means to be involved in the life of the church. Church 101 is led by Pastor Dan Schillero and meets at 10:30am in the Venue.

Small Groups

Begin August 31

Student small groups meet every other week during Student Impact to study the Upper Room Discourse (John 13-17) in groups divided by grade and gender. Student Impact meets at The Warehouse from 7-9pm on Tuesday nights for middle school and Thursday nights for high school.

Children

Sunday Morning Groups

Begin meeting September 12

Nursery care, preschool, and elementary classes will be offered at 9am and 10:30am. Preschool (ages 2- Kindergarten) and Elementary children (grades 1-5) learn God's Word through music and worship, Bible lessons and age-appropriate games and activities.

Sunday Evening Groups

Begin meeting September 26 (Tentative)

For children ages 3.5 through 5th grade, "Mission Kids" meets in a large group setting in the lower level of our Children's Wing for worship, prayer, and missions focus. During the evening, children break into smaller groups for Bible lessons, games, and Bible verse memorization. Nursery care will also be available for children up to 42 months.

Midweek Groups

Opportunities for children to gather midweek are still being reviewed.

Support Groups

Various start dates

We all go through difficult times, and we all have the responsibility and privilege to come alongside each other and support each other through these difficulties. Our support groups are designed to facilitate this type of encouragement. These groups meet for a set period of time and offer Bible studies and training that are specific to a particular situation.
