World Changers 2018 Summer Missions Trip

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Start Time: Sat 16, June 2018, 10:30 a.m.
End Time: Fri 22, June 2018, 1 a.m.

This year for our student summer mission trip, we will be heading to Chicago, Illinois to partner with a church and participate in their outreach efforts. Some details:

Who: Students completing 6-12 grades
When: Early Saturday June 16 through Late Thursday June 21, 2018
Where: Chicago, Illinois
Cost: $325 (includes everything)
How: Apply here by Monday April 9. A $30 deposit is required with the application to reserve your spot.
Why: To fulfill the greatest commandments (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Parent's Night at Club JV

Location: The Warehouse (31200 Solon Road, Solon OH 44139)
Start Time: Tue 20, March 2018, 10 p.m.
End Time: Wed 21, March 2018, midnight

Parents, we invite you to stay for a Club JV on Tuesday March 20! Instead of dropping off your student, come in with them and check us out. You'll get a picture of what happens on a typical Tuesday evening and then spend some time on The Loft side with middle school pastor Mac Matthews and other middle school parents. Coffee and dessert will be provided, no RSVP required.

Team Challenge Tuesdays

Middle school students, invite your friends to join us for Team Challenge Tuesdays on February 20 and 27! We'll have some friendly team competition throughout the night and a gospel presentation. No RSVP required - the more friends you bring, the more points your team earns!

U-Turn in The Venue 1/21/18

Middle school students will be joining the high school students in The Venue this Sunday morning at 9:45am for a combined U-Turn/Student Body group.

Middle School Winter Retreat 2018

Location: Skyview Ranch, Millersburg OH
Start Time: Sat 10, March 2018, 1 p.m.
End Time: Sun 11, March 2018, 10:30 p.m.

Middle school students, get ready for a jam-packed weekend of indoor and outdoor fun! On Saturday March 10, 2018 at 10:00am, meet at the Warehouse to load the busses to Skyview Ranch in Millersburg, OH. Once there, enjoy everything the camp has to offer - from a game room to snow tubes to a zipline and optional horse-back riding or paintball. Come prepared to spend time in God’s Word with speaker Jonny Theide and sing praise songs with our own Club JV band. We’ll return to the Warehouse at 7:30pm on Sunday March 11.

Cost to attend the retreat is $75. This covers 4 meals, snacks, lodging, camp use, and materials for the weekend. If you want to ride a horse or play paintball, there is an additional cost of $15 for horses and $20 for paintball, which can be indicated on the registration.

World Changers Summer Missions Trip

For the past 7 years, Parkside students have participated in the World Changers summer missions trip here in Cleveland. It has been a great experience having our students serve so close to home, but we have decided for 2018 to offer a new experience. This year we will be heading to Chicago, Illinois on June 16-21, 2018 to partner with a church and participate in their outreach efforts.

More details will be given at the World Changers Informational Meeting on Sunday March 25 at 11:15am in B211.

Parent Potluck Dinner

Parents of middle school and high school students are invited to join us at The Venue on Friday January 19 at 6:30pm for dinner. We'll provide pizza and drinks, please bring a salad, side dish, or dessert to share. Pastor Jeff Mills will be joining us and share with us for a brief time. Childcare will be provided.
