High School Students
Student Small Groups
As you are gearing up for the new school year, we're gearing up to launch our Small Groups! This year we are studying John 13-17: the heart of Jesus in the upper room. Small groups begin the week of September 6th for both middle school and high school.
We believe Small Groups are an important part of our ministry and one of the key ways students build relationships and grow in their faith. Every student is assigned to a small group that is grade and gender specific and led by multiple adult ministry team leaders. On small group nights, each group will break off from the larger group and work through a study of John 13-17, followed by prayer and fellowship.
Students are expected to read and study the passage ahead of small groups and come prepared to discuss with their group. On large group nights, the pastors will teach on the passage we studied in small groups. Our hope and prayer is that individual study, group discussion, and teaching, by the power of the Spirit, will help to reinforce Biblical truth and cultivate growth in the hearts and lives of our students.
