Sojourners Christmas Celebration 2015

Location: The Venue at Parkside Church

Anyone age 50+ is invited to join in a festive time of Christmas celebration on Friday, December 4th at 6:30 pm in The Venue.

Bonnie Cook and friends will lead us through a presentation of Christ's birth using word and song, featuring guest vocalist Joni McFarland.

A catered dinner will be served. Cost is $10 per person.

Because of building renovations, registration for this event is limited to 280 people.

An Evening on Wellness Slides Now Available!

Although we did not record the "Evening on Wellness" event held May 29, we do have the informational slides that the speakers used.

Sojourners Presents: Grandparents Night!

Calling all grandparents! Invite your grandchildren (or adopt some) for an evening at Parkside on Friday, July 17!

Bring your grandchildren (ages 6 and older) to The Venue for a pizza dinner, followed by popcorn, ice cream, and a showing of the Pixar movie "Up". All the fun starts at 6:00 pm!

Sojourners' Pennsylvania Excursion 2015

Location: Overnight trip to Pennsylvania

Join us October 1 & 2 for a trip to the wonderful Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre in Strasburg, PA to see the production of "Joseph".

Using innovative dream sequences, lavish Egyptian staging, colorful characters, live animals, and memorable songs, this energy-packed show will leave you laughing, crying and uplifted with the life-changing message of God's forgiveness. Sight & Sound's depiction of this classic story magnifies the many qualities that make Joseph appeal to people of all ages.

A Wellness Evening presented by the Sojourners

Location: The Commons at Parkside Church

All are welcome to join us Friday, May 29 at 7pm in The Commons for a presentation on the topic of "Wellness", followed by healthy refreshments.

Nancy Schuessler, an eight time visitor on the Dr. Oz Show, Wellness Warrior, wife and mother along with her sister and Parkside member, mother, and educator, Amy Van Hala, will together communicate how to make informed food choices at the grocery store, at home, and off the menu at your favorite restaurants.

Sojourners Present: Samuel Adams Returns!

Come and hear how our great nation was founded directly from one who was involved, American Revolutionary and Founding Father, Samuel Adams.

Mr. Adams will mingle amongst us as we enjoy dinner and then will give a presentation following the meal. Anyone age 50+ is invited to attend.

Sojourners/GEO Kidz Pancake Breakfast

Location: The Venue (formerly Fellowship Hall)

Anyone age 50+ is invited to a free pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 7, provided by the kids and parents involved in our GEO Kidz ministry.  The breakfast will take place at 9am in The Venue.

Due to the popularity of this event and the limitations of the room available, we have had to close registration for the Sojourners' Christmas Celebration. Without use of The Commons, we are limited in the number of tables that can fit in the space. We apologize that we are not able to accommodate everyone who would like to attend.
