  • Let Your Light Shine-Be a Cleveland Clinic Hospice Volunteer

One hour a week can change two lives: a person facing life-limiting illness and yours.

Considered the model of quality, compassionate care for people facing a life-limiting illness, hospice focuses on caring, not curing, and involved a team approach that includes volunteers.

As a hospice volunteer, you can help ina variety of ways, including:

    * Provide weekly socialization and companionship to patients (1 to 2 hours a week)

    * Give the gift of time for a caregiver to take a break for self-care (2 to 3 hours a week)

    * Conduct military pinning ceremonies for Veterans (as needed) OR Be a Veteran to Veteran Volunteer

    * Professional Services: Legal and Notary Services / Stylist and Nail Services

    * Volunteer with your certified therapy dog as part of our Caring Canine program

We look forward to hearing from you!
