Mentors/Tutors Needed!
There is an immediate need for individuals to be mentors/tutors at the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center. Enjoy a relationship with a student in the after school program called "Young Scholars" and watch him or her grow!
Middle & Elementary School tutors are needed. If you would like more information, contact Lori Hilty, Volunteer Coordinator at 440-247-6030.

Volunteers Still Needed for Solon Home Days!
Parkside Church will have a booth at the 2011 Solon Home Days festival July 28-31. The festival is located off SOM Center Rd. at Solon Community Park.
We need volunteers to help set-up and tear-down the booth and also to work at the booth during the festival. Booth workers will greet people, hand out materials and balloons, and help children play our Parkside Plinko game.
Volunteers are still needed for the Solon Home Days booth at the dates and times listed below.
Wednesday, July 27 - Set-up Booth @ 5:30 pm (4 people)
Thursday, July 28 - 7-9pm (2 people), 9-11 pm (4 people)
Friday, July 29 - 5-7 pm (1 person), 9-11pm (4 people)
Saturday, July 30 - 2-4 pm (2 people), 8-11pm (2 people)
Sunday, July 31 - 2-4 pm (3 people), 6-9:30pm (4 people)
Sunday July 31 - Tear Down and Load Van @ 9:30 pm (3 people)
Please check you calendars and then sign up for a time at the table outside Fellowship Hall on Sunday. It should be a fun time! Thanks for your consideration.

Summer Volunteers Needed
Scranton Road Ministries is in need of volunteers to help with a 5-week summer enrichment day camp for grades 5-8 starting June 13th at Scranton Road Bible Church. The program will run Mon-Thurs 10 AM-3:00 PM. The purpose of the program is to provide students with a safe, fun, Christ-centered and enriching experience during the summer.

"If God, Why Evil?" conference

On June 11, Parkside will host "If God, Why Evil?". The purpose of the conference is to provide Biblical answers and insights to help Christians and non-Christians alike understand the existence of a good and personal God and the evil, suffering, and pain that is experienced everyday.
Featured speakers include author and apologist Dr. Norman Geisler, President of Reasoning from the Scriptures, Dr. Ronald Rhodes, and Voice of the Martyrs Mission Representative, Robert Brock.

Alternaterm, one of our partners in local ministry, has a hodgepodge of computers, software and equipment and is in desperate need of an IT technician who can give them an assessment as well as provide ongoing tech support.
