  • Geauga County Foster Adopt

    Geauga County has been experiencing an increase in the needs of families and children in the past several years. This has caused the demand for certified foster and adoptive parents to increase as well. There are many families in crisis in our own neighborhoods that require the supportive services of our agency. You and your family could be part of the support.

  • SRM Health Fair Volunteers Still Needed!

    Scranton Road Ministries is still in need of both skilled and unskilled volunteers for their Community Health Fair and Family Carnival on September 13 from noon-4 pm.

    1. Medical- (1-2) Dentists, (1) Podiatrist, (1) Optometrist, and (2-3) General Practitioners for the Follow-up Dialog Center

    2. General- We need (3) people for prayer, and (2) for Registration.

    Scranton Road Ministries is offering its annual Community Health Fair & Family Carnival on Saturday, September 13th from 12-4 pm.

    There will be many free health screenings, a healthy meal and fun activities for all ages. The event will take place a the Luis Munoz Marin School, 1701 Castle Ave., Cleveland (at the corner of Scranton Road & Castle Ave.).

  • Host a Saudi Student

    Parkside families are invited to host 1-3 college students from Saudi Arabia for a meal on September 27. You can do this as individuals, as a small group or a combination of both. Long term hosting opportunities are also available.

  • Host an International Business Professional

    A group of 10-Belarusian bankers and business professionals are coming to Cleveland September 5-21 for an intensive two weeks focused on building the private sector in Belarus. The Cleveland Council on World Affairs is looking for host families to provide them with an opportunity to stay in an American home and to build meaningful personal and professional connections.

  • LAND NEEDED! Geauga County Habitat for Humanity

    Geauga County Habitat for Humanity is looking for land in Chardon, Ohio.  Are you or someone you know looking to sell or donate a parcel of land, a home that needs renovation or a piece of property with an existing structure that can be torn down to build a new home on?

    We have a partner family right now who is waiting for their forever home in the Chardon area. Please contact Marcia at 440-564-5848 for details. All donations are tax-deductible.

  • Solon Home Days Volunteers Needed!

    Parkside Church will have a booth at the Solon Home Days festival July 24-27 at Solon Community Park. We are in need of many volunteers to greet people, hand out balloons and literature, and help with a children’s game.

    Consider representing Parkside in the community and sign-up for a 2-3 hour shift at the table outside Fellowship Hall beginning June 22.
