for the Parkside Christmas Concerts
The message and meaning of Christ Jesus’ birth will be celebrated in words and music throughout the month of December. Concert dates for this year are December 12-15. Because we desire to share this good news with as many as we can, please prayerfully consider the people God has placed in your lives, and invite them to join you!
Tickets will be available beginning Friday, November 15, at parksidechurch.com/christmas. Once they are released, tickets go quickly, so please help us by planning your concert attendance and invites before tickets are released, that way you‘ll know how many you’ll need, and for which concerts. There is a six ticket limit per person per concert. We also plan to live stream selected concerts on our website as well as on our Facebook page. Details about the live stream will be available closer to the concert dates.
Please note that tickets are general admission only, with no assigned seating, in order to accommodate as many guests as possible. Doors will open 1 hour prior to each concert and we ask that you do not save seats.
At the end of all things, God is victorious and worthy of all praise. We can be certain of this outcome because it is the reality of heaven. The apostle John describes the glory, holiness, and worship that surround God’s throne.
All girls, K-5th grade are invited with their Moms/Grandmas/Aunts to a girls' game night. Please RSVP to Renee so we can be sure to have enough food and beverages. Cost is $3 per person to defray the cost of the food.
Embracing Family is Parkside’s ministry seeking to care for orphans according to God’s Word. We will hold a meeting for support, encouragement, and prayer. If you are a foster parent or the parent of an adopted child, we encourage you to join us.
Find out more about an opportunity to help teach English to young Indian Christians at the Delhi Bible Institute in July, 2020. Teaching experience is helpful, but not necessary. Training will be provided.
Join Sojourners for dinner and a movie in the Venue! We’ll have dinner and then enjoy popcorn and the movie Luther, a historical drama based on the life of Martin Luther. Pick up a registration form at any information center or register below.
If your life or that of a loved one has been affected by cancer, join us for a time of sharing, encouragement, and prayer. Refreshments will be provided.
The baptism course usually meets the first two Sundays of most months (except for certain holiday weekends or breaks). The second class will take place on November 10. There is no need to sign up beforehand.
For preschool children age 2-1/2 - 5 years old, we offer Story Time on the main floor of the Children's Wing. Bring a lunch for yourself and your child to enjoy afterwards.
Young adults, ages 22-35, married or single, are invited to celebrate the autumn season with Transit. The night will include a bake-off, contests, music, and more.
Families with at least one child under 7 are invited to our Young Family Play Day. There will be inflatables for older kids and a soft play area for toddlers. We will provide pizza, juice boxes and water and ask that you bring a side dish to share.
