A Call to Belong
When a local family hosted a game night in Aurora last August, no one anticipated what would develop from the evening. Less than 24 hours after Anthony and Kayleigh Finelli received an unexpected diagnosis about their son, they attended the game night and shared the news. The response was overwhelming, with the group turning to prayer on behalf of the Finelli family. After that night, the group decided that they should study the Bible together and Joshua Wallace reached out to Dan Larison to become a Community Group leader.
For the Finellis, the Community Group has opened their eyes to what it means to belong to the church. “We have a large Christian family who live locally and we tend to lean on them for prayer, encouragement, and spiritual guidance. 2022 Winter/Spring Bible Studies
"James is a beloved book, since it is so practical, so full of vivid exhortations to live a godly life. In a few pages, it offers concrete counsel on an array of issues that confronts Christians daily: trials, poverty, materialism, pride, favoritism, justice, planning, prayer, illness, and more."
Join a men's or women's Bible study and explore the candor and clarity of the book of James. Groups will continue meeting the week of January 17. All studies will begin by meeting in the Venue for a large teaching time and then break into small groups for discussion, prayer, and fellowship.- If you attended in the fall of 2021, there is no need to register again.
- If you are new to the study, please register on the first day of study.
Men, join us Monday nights from 7-9pm.
Women, choose from two study times:
- Tuesday Evening Study: 7-9pm (no childcare)
- Thursday Morning Study: 9:30-11:30am (childcare provided)
