The Parkside Insider: August 25, 2023
Fall Bible studies start again soon! All men and women are invited to learn how to study God’s Word and grow in their ability to interpret and apply Scripture.

This year’s study will continue in Romans, working through through chapters 9-16. New participants are always welcome, even if you did not participate in last year’s study of Romans 1-8. All groups start with small group discussions in various classrooms and conclude with a large group teaching time in the Venue.

Groups will begin meeting the week of September 18. Registration cost covers all materials for the entire year.

Psalm 76:1-12

The Bible invites people to turn to God while he is near, and even passages that point to the judgment of God, are a reason to seek the Lord, not run from him. A psalm of reassurance to God's beleaguered people, Psalm 76 reminds readers that God’s judgment and salvation are one and the same. They are not approximate, but exact, as God judges in order to save. Through Christ, he has punished sin, saved sinners, and made himself known to his people. God is great, present, and powerful, and he invites us to trust him, to see his majesty, and to rejoice in him.

Audio Engineer
We are looking for a Sunday audio engineer to serve as a contractor on a weekly basis. Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience running live sound in a professional capacity.

Parkside Christmas Concert Choir Sign Up
Plans are underway for the Parkside Christmas Concert Series. We are seeking choir vocalists to participate in the second half of the program. Auditions are not required, but vocalists should be able to sing confidently, joyfully, and be able to blend. Come and join us for a wonderful time of fun and fellowship as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior and King!
