Marriage Matters Workshop with Dr. Tim Lane

Marriage, as an institution created by God, has come under serious attack today in our culture. As the ever increasing influence of secularism reigns supreme, marriages inside and outside the church continue to erode.

As one looks closer, another startling trend is appearing in the church: marriages which profess and proclaim Jesus Christ, but fail to display the unique mystery Paul describes in Ephesians 5. Dragged down by conflict and indifference, many marriages run the risk of losing their gospel-storytelling power.

As the world looks on and sees Christian marriages not all that different from theirs, one has to begin to ask how we can tell a better story—a story of God’s amazing grace which saves us for His glory.

Join us Saturday, November 8 for our annual Marriage Matters Workshop. We are pleased to host pastor, author and counselor Dr. Tim Lane. Dr. Lane has a passion for marriages in the local church. Over four sessions, we will unpack both theology and life as it applies to marriage.

Additionally, Friday evening, November 7, we will offer a special pre-conference session with Dr. Lane on walking alongside couples in the midst of or recovering from adultery. Couples who register for both events receive a discount.
