This is Love
In his first letter, John wrote to reassure Christians of eternal life in Christ, explaining that the evidence of this truth is God’s love among God’s people. In a culture where love is an ambiguous word based on vague sentimentality, we find in Scripture that it has a definite meaning and expression. God the Father is the source of love, Jesus our Savior is the perfect picture of love, and if we are children of God, we will embody His love as we interact with those around us.
