- Supported Worker: Equipping Servants International (ESI)
- Details: Pastor Edgar Mamani leads ESI ministry in the Tipnis area of the Bolivian jungle, helping pastors study the Bible in communities that are traditionally resistant to the gospel. Paulo Da Silva is the ESI leader in Africa and works with Isaac Chitibwe, a pastor in Lusaka, Zambia. Pray that God will use Paulo and Isaac to encourage and strengthen ESI leadership teams across Africa and for Edgar to do the same in Bolivia. Also, pray for Paulo’s wife, Vania, as she fights thyroid cancer. As God continues to expand the ministry of ESI, pray that the 3,000 ESI participants in 250 groups in 37 countries would grow and experience deep gospel transformation in their lives, relationships, and local churches. Philippines (Asia). Population: 116,786,963 Believers: 12.3%. Metro Manila is a mega-city of 13 million people, with the Greater Manila area up to 26 million. It faces enormous challenges, but God is greatly at work here. Many are open to the gospel, but most evangelical churches are in wealthier areas. Nearly 50% of slums and squatter communities have no evangelical church. At the same time, Manila is home to the country’s wealthy elite. The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church.
