Details: Pray for the launch of all ministries at Parkside Kent. Beginning the first week of September, nine community groups in area homes will be studying the book of Ephesians. Pray that many will come to know Christ and grow in him. Pray that God’s design for the local church as revealed in Ephesians will take root and mature. They will also be offering a midweek program called “Treehouse” for first through fifth graders. The program will use the New City Catechism to plant the truths of Scripture deep in young hearts and teach them the core doctrines of the Christian faith. Mauritania (Africa). Population: 5,315,065 Believers: 0.1%. All Mauritanian peoples remain essentially unreached, and the vast majority have yet to hear the good news of God’s grace through faith in Jesus. Pray for increasing freedom of religion, both socially and legally. Pray for seekers to encounter Jesus and that any who follow him might be courageous in the faith.
