Details: Pray for their kids as they have started attending their new schools this month. Mark, Lillia, and Claire are entering the Christian Academy in Japan, and Graham is entering the local Nishibori Elementary School, which is only a 5-minute walk from their house. Entering school is the last big transition for them with their move to Tokyo. God has been preparing the way for this transition and his presence continues to be with them. Pray their children will be a blessing to others at their schools, and the Lord will also use this time in their lives to stretch and draw them closer to himself. Maldives (Asia). Population: 529,676 Believers: 0.1%. Powerful social and official forces limit freedom of expression and belief. Islam is the only recognized religion, and the government forbids open practice of all other religions. Pray for the light of the gospel to shine among Maldivians. Malta (Europe). Population: 545,405 Believers: 1.3%. The most religious nation in Europe, Malta has deeply Catholic sensibilities. The majority regularly attend mass and over 80% feel that their religion is important to them. However, not many Maltese enjoy a personal walk with the living Lord Jesus.
