World Changers 2015

What is World Changers?
World Changers is a week-long missions trip in our own backyard! We'll set up camp at Bedford High School and spend the days working on projects throughout the Cleveland area. In the evenings, we'll attend evening sessions with worship and teaching.
When is World Changers?
We'll set out midday on Saturday July 18th and return late on Thursday July 23rd.
How much is World Changers?
The cost for this trip is $299. Partial and full scholarships are available.
How do I sign up for World Changers?
Fill out an online application here. A $50 deposit is also required to reserve your space since spots are limited. Applications are due May 10th.

Real Retreat 2015
Location: Parkside Church Green Campus
Start Time: Fri 17, April 2015, 9 p.m.
End Time: Sat 18, April 2015, 10 p.m.
What is the Real Retreat? We like to think of it as almost an anti-retreat. That means that there are not a lot of games. It's a more serious time for the student who is interested in learning about or growing in his or her relationship with Christ.
The cost is $50 and includes transportation, lodging, snacks, and three meals. You will need to bring money for dinner on the road Saturday night. Registration will close on Wednesday April 15th. Register online today!

Short-Term International Missions Trip
It is our pattern as a youth ministry to embark on a short-term international missions trip every two years. This year, June 4-14, we are heading to Musselburgh, Scotland in partnership with Graham Shearer and Musselburgh Baptist Church. The purpose of this trip is to provide our students with an opportunity to serve people and worship together with other believers in a foreign culture. While we are in Scotland, the students will engage in various service projects throughout the city, they will observe and participate in the church services and weekly activities of the church, and we will also spend some time exploring the city.
We are making this opportunity available to all of our high school students, however, the spots for this trip are limited and upperclassmen will be given preference as we assemble our team. Students must fill out an application and return it to me by Sunday, February 15th. You can click here to download the application.

Scotland 2015 Applications
Students are invited to apply for a cross-cultural missions experience to Musselburgh, Scotland, June 4-18, 2015. Applications can be obtained at Student Impact on Thursday nights or by emailing Danny (dschillero@parksidechurch.com) and are due February 15. More details, including cost, will be announced shortly.

HS Parents Potluck 2.27.15

We had such a great response to our Parent's Meeting this past January that we wanted to offer more opportunities to 1. connect with you as parents of students, 2. connect you with other parents of high school students, and 3. offer encouragements and resources on parenting adolescents.
To help facilitate this, the high school ministry is hosting a Parent's Potluck on Friday February 27th at 6:30pm at the Loft. We are asking that those with the last name bring:
- A-F Main Dish
- G-L Salad
- M-R Side Dish
- S-Z Dessert
Please take a moment to RSVP (even if you aren't coming, please let us know why for future planning).

Student Body Returns
As we head into a new year and have had time to evaluate and process things over the past months, we have decided that it would be best to reinstitute Student Body on Sunday mornings.

7SR 2015

We will be heading out to Seven Springs Resort January 31-February 1 for some winter fun!
Heads Up:
Saturday we'll be spending the day at Laurel Mountain Christian Camp (don't worry, its sweet). Plenty of fun inside and out are on the agenda. Sunday we're over at Seven Springs hitting the slopes.Coming and Going:
Make sure you are at the Warehouse at 10:45am on Saturday morning. We will return Sunday at approximately 7:00pm to the Warehouse, where you are invited to stay to watch the big game on the big screen and enjoy some pizza. We will post tweets to twitter.com/parksidehs and text updates as to our exact arrival time.Don't Forget:
Friends, ski/snowboard equipment, warm clothes for activities at the camp, toiletries, Bible, bed linens, and money for lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. All other meals are paid for.Money Stuff:
