  • Book Recommendation: King's Cross

This is a book about Jesus—Jesus as he is portrayed in the Gospel of Mark. My purpose here is to try to show, through his words and actions, how beautifully his life makes sense of ours.” Understand Jesus and you will understand the world: that is the central premise of the book.

    Where were you?

At 8:45 in the morning, George Sleigh was on the phone preparing for an afternoon meeting when he heard a loud roar. As he spun around in his chair, he saw a passenger jet just outside his office window and exclaimed, "Man, that guy's low!" In an instant, the hijacked plane slammed into the north tower of the World Trade Center just a few floors above.
