Fall 2020 Care Groups

Experiencing life’s hardships can often be difficult and lonely. Parkside’s Care Groups are designed to offer biblically-based encouragement and support for people facing specific situations. Some of these groups are beginning their fall session this week, with an option to meet online.

Remembrance & Hope Service

Christ Commuity Chapel will host their 5th annual Remembrance & Hope Service on Sunday, December 6, at 3pm at 750 Streetsboro Street in Hudson. As the holidays draw near, many families experience an increased sense of loss when loved ones are no longer with us. This service offers an opportunity to honor and pay tribute to those loved ones, worship together, and hear a message of hope for the holidays. The service includes a special candle lighting ceremony, with a gift of a beautiful candle holder personally inscribed with the loved one's name. The service is free and childcare is provided. A refreshment reception will immediately follow the service. Although attendance is free, registration is required. Registration will open October 25 and continue until November 30 at https://hudson.ccchapel.com/event/remembrance-hope-2/.

Grieving With Hope - Fall 2020

End Time: Mon 16, Nov. 2020, 8 p.m.

If you are grieving the loss of a loved one and would welcome help from the Bible and the warm encouragement of others in similar circumstances, join us for a 4-week online care group beginning October 26 at 7pm.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required so that instructions may be sent to you.

Grieving With Hope & COVID-19

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Grieving With Hope care group is on hiatus until further notice. We hope to be able to hold a group this fall.

In the meantime, we encourage you to visit the Counsel for Common Questions page of our website where you can find helpful free resources on a variety of topics.

If you would like one-on-one Christian counseling, please consider either Parkside's Biblical Counseling ministry or that of Fieldstone Counseling.
