Children's Ministry Summer Schedule 2025

The months of summer bring with them some changes in Children's Ministry on Sundays. Learn more about what is offered Memorial Day-Labor Day weekend.

Children's Ministry Volunteer Orientation

All Sunday morning and evening Children's Ministry volunteers are asked to attend to orientation on Sunday, September 8 as we start a new ministry year.

Sunday Morning Volunteers (Kids QUEST) | 8am | Venue

• Orientation for all teachers and helpers who will be serving at 9am or 10:30am
• Brief review of safety/security, Scripture memorization plan, and prayer
• Coffee provided; children are welcome to attend, if needed
• We will dismiss by 8:40am so 9am teams can get to their classes to welcome children

Sunday Evening Volunteers (Mission Kids) | 5pm | Children's Wing, lower level

• Orientation for all Mission Kids leaders/helpers
• Brief review of safety/security, evening schedule, Scripture memorization plan, and prayer
• Discussion time with team members, by age
• Light snacks provided; children are welcome to attend, if needed
• We will dismiss by 5:50pm in time for evening service (Parkside on the patio service)
• Mission Kids begins on September 15

Families with young children are encouraged to make note of our Easter schedule.

As the holidays approach, we encourage parents to make note of our schedule for children birth-grade 5.

Mission Kids meets most Sunday evenings during our worship services, and we encourage families to read about our schedule for 2023-24.

If you are serving in Children's Ministry this coming year (2022-23), please plan to attend the orientation meeting for your ministry on August 28:

• AM teams (Kids QUEST Sunday School): 8:45am, the Venue

• PM teams (Mission Kids): 5:00pm, Children's Wing Lower Level
