    Peru Bible Dedication Trip Informational Meeting

    12:15 p.m.— 1:15 p.m.

    If you would like to know more about joining Mark & Patti Bean at the Bible dedication celebration in Huaraz, Peru August 7th-14th, come to an informational meeting Sunday, May 19. A light lunch will be provided. The estimated cost is $1,000 plus flights.

    Spring 2019 Caregivers' Support Luncheon

    12:30 p.m.— 2 p.m.

    If you are caring for someone with memory issues, join us for lunch on May 19. Pastor Nick Spurgeon will lead a time of sharing, encouragement, and prayer. Care and lunch will also be available for your loved one in Room A226. This event is free and open to the public.

    Mission Kids/Kids Quest Appreciation Lunch

    12:30 p.m.— 2:30 p.m.

    All workers in Mission Kids and Kids Quest are invited to a special luncheon in your honor to thank you for your tireless service to our children on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings. Families of workers are also invited to join us for lunch in the Venue, May 19th at 12:30pm.

    Widows are invited to meet for coffee and conversation after the 11:15 am service. Come to the Commons and look for the Coffee Connection sign.

    VBC Sunday Afternoon Skit Rehearsals

    4 p.m.— 5:45 p.m.

    The Sunday afternoon VBC skit rehearsals are April 14th and May 19th from 4-5:45pm in room B020.

    Missions Prayer Time

    5 p.m.— 5:45 p.m.

    A weekly prayer meeting is held on Sunday evenings from 5-5:45 pm. Each week focuses on a different missionary family or missionary partner. Come join us as we partner with our missionaries by praying regularly for them.

    6 p.m.— 7 p.m.

    Mission Kids is our Sunday evening study for kids while parents worship in the auditorium.

    Widows 2019 Spring Gathering

    6:30 p.m.— 8:30 p.m.

    All widows are invited to attend five sessions on widowhood this spring! There is no cost to attend. These gatherings are open to the community.

    Preschool Story Time

    11 a.m.— noon

    For ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old on the main level of the children's wing from 11am till noon we offer story time to pre-schoolers on a bi-weekly basis. No need to register, just bring your child(ren) for a great time to reflect on God's goodness with a great story. Invite a friend and their little one to join you for some great fellowship as a bonus.

    Large midweek gathering for middle school students at The Warehouse. Doors open at 5:30pm for time to hang out before SI starts at 7:00.

    Parkside's Transit ministry is designed for young adults, single or married, ages 22-35. We offer a smaller-scale, mid-week, age-targeted contemporary worship event on Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm, at the Loft.

    Midweek gathering for high school students at the Warehouse. Doors open at 5:30pm for students to hang out. SI starts at 7:00pm.

    Grieving With Hope Spring 2019 Care Group

    7 p.m.— 9 p.m.

    If you are grieving the loss of a loved one and would welcome help from the Bible and the warm encouragement of others in similar circumstances, join us for an eight-week care group.

    Akron RubberDucks Dinner & Game

    5:45 p.m.— 10 p.m.

    Bring a Friend!!! Invite a friend for an evening in The Duck Club at Canal Park for dinner and to cheer on the Akron RubberDucks baseball team on Friday, May 24! The RubberDucks are the Double A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. We have reserved The Duck Club suite for this event. The Duck Club features a chef-driven catering menu, state-of-the-art AV and unprecedented views of Canal Park. Seating for the game is located in the club area and includes both indoor and outdoor patio choices.

    Sunday morning VBC Skit Rehearsals will be held in B020 from 11:15am-12:45pm on the following dates: April 28th, May 5th, May 26th, June 2nd and June 9th.
