Nursery & Children's Ministry Classes

We offer nursery care and children's classes at both morning services for children birth-grade 5.

Baptism 101 Course - January
9 a.m.— 10 a.m.
The baptism course usually meets in room B208 the first two Sundays of most months (except for certain holiday weekends or breaks). You must take the classes in order. There is no need to pre-register or sign up beforehand.

Crossroads Prison Ministries Table
10 a.m.— noon
Parkside partners with Crossroads Prison Ministries in providing Bible lessons and encouragement to those incarcerated. Volunteers grade papers and write letters to inmates anonymously. To learn more, stop by the table on the morning of January 15.

PKS Membership Course - January
10:30 a.m.— 11:30 a.m.
The Parkside Membership Class is a three-week course that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The class meets on Sundays at 10:30am in Room B208 and is held the first three Sundays of each month. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend

Middle School Sunday Morning Group
10:30 a.m.— 11:30 a.m.
Each week middle school students meet to study God’s Word, pray, and build friendships. They meet in the lower level of the Commons (B020) from 10:30am to 11:30am. We encourage students to participate in the 9:00am service with their parents before coming to Middle School Sunday Morning Group.

High School Sunday Morning Group
10:30 a.m.— 11:30 a.m.
Each week high school students meet to study God’s Word, pray, and build friendships. They meet in The Venue from 10:30am to 11:30am. We encourage students to participate in the 9:00am service with their parents in preparation for High School Sunday Morning Group.

We offer children's ministry groups for children ages 3-1/2 to grade 3 at our evening service.

MS: Student Impact
7 p.m.— 9 p.m.
At Student Impact, we will begin the night with time in fellowship and a large group game, and then make some announcements about upcoming events and opportunities. One of the pastors or pastoral residents will then give a Bible teaching to the larger group. This is followed by a short time of discussion and reflection in small groups.

Transit
7:30 p.m.— 9:30 p.m.
Transit is designed for young adults, single or married, ages 18-35. Our ministry is designed to help you navigate these trying years, in uncertain times, with a foundation of timeless, scriptural truth.

Play Groups
10:30 a.m.— noon
Play Groups meets on alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year on the first floor of the Children’s Wing from 10:30am-noon. All moms & caregivers of children birth-5 years of age are invited to join us for a time of fun and relationship-building. We encourage everyone to BYOL (bring your own lunch) and wrap-up the morning by sharing lunch together.
