Walking in Truth and Love
God desires his children to walk in truth and love—inseparable qualities perfectly displayed in Jesus. Biblical truth should move us to love God and one another deeply, obeying his commands out of gratitude for the gospel. In 2 John, the apostle warns against deception, reminding readers that Scripture equips us to discern truth from error and enables us to walk in the joy of fellowship. We are called to abide in Christ, to be anchored by his grace, and to love as he has loved us—with sacrificial, selfless, and gospel-infused love.
