The Word
Like an enticing movie trailer, John’s gospel opens with some powerful revelations to persuade us to finish the book. In rapid succession, John reveals Jesus as the Word through whom God created everything, the life and light that cannot be overcome by darkness, and the promised Messiah who is either rejected or received. Eternally existent with God, Jesus became flesh to reveal God’s glory and offer His grace to a fallen world. Do you know Him? Have you received Him?
