A Priest Forever
Salvation is found in Christ alone. The Old Testament law and priesthood could not secure perfection; rather, it pointed forward to Jesus, a superior High Priest, who, by the power of His indestructible life, established His eternal priesthood—a priesthood guaranteed with an oath. Jesus, our Savior and our great High Priest, is able to save to the uttermost and always lives to intercede on our behalf. As believers, our lives and our faith are sustained by Jesus’ intercessory prayers.
