Perfect Sacrifice of a Better Covenant — Part Two
Like the Israelites under the Mosaic covenant, when we try to obey God's commands on our own, we are continually met with patterns of sin and disobedience. Our failure to meet God’s standard deserves God’s rightful judgment. But God, being rich in mercy, sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sin. By His death, we are wiped clean, and our hope and eternal inheritance are secured in him.
