Majesty Made Known
Though he is perfect and sufficient in and of himself, God chose to redeem weak and sinful people—not because he needed us, but so that his glory would be revealed. As God's image-bearers, we have been given authority to rule over and care for his creation, and in doing so, we should be overwhelmed by God’s power and humbled by his holiness. May we be filled with wonder at the power and glory displayed all around us, and declare with David in Psalm 8, “O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!”
